Two Footballers (titled by my dad). I think he
entered this in one of his work's Art Competitions, and I think it won
a prize or something. I suspect he was a judge or an official of some
sort, but if you can't use nepotism, then what use is it?
Painted (OK, OK, daubed...) by Michael Allen on 7th May 1957. I was
3½.
Clocks from October 1959 to tell the time of
day - from one of many schoolbooks my dad had kept.
Once a-pon a time there lived three
little foxes.
Thay did't wear truoses and thay did't wear sockes.
My spelling may have improved (and the advent of the spell-checker has aided that, too) but you'll see my writing hasn't. I type a lot.
I don't have a date for this, but I suspect it's also late 1950's. It's painted on a cardboard insert that used to feature in Shredded Wheat boxes (and may still do).
I don't really need to add to this, except to
say that he kept this too. As I shall.
And my last school report from when my mother
and I still lived with him.
OK, it's the best of the bunch - another report from March 1961 shows
me coming 25th out of 46, rather than 1st as here.
All you teachers: - note the class size of 45. The "group" was
total number of pupils in that age-range in the school - the year
size.

Yes, yes, the photos and layout need updating - the website was first designed in "dial-up days", before any sort of broadband, and everything had to be small so it uploaded and downloaded fast. Work to do, I know.
Website produced 2003-2013 by Mike Allen - a fatuous platitudes production.
