Alf aged 31, picture taken in Sutton in 1952. Obviously
posed at a photographer's studio, this copy is mounted on photographer's
board.
This is the picture that my dad gave me sometime in the 1990's when I asked for a good photograph of him. I framed it and it's been on my wall ever since (OK, OK, except when I took it down to scan it for this site...).
